Connecting with your Inner Child

Hey Pumpkins! Yes, I know it's been a while. Things have been crazy busy. Today we will be talking about connecting with your Inner Child, lets's get started!

I guess the best place to start is the question "What is your Inner Child?" Well, your inner child, put simply, is the child inside of you. This Inner Child is born from your childhood. Yes, it's pretty much in the name. Your Inner Child is a powerful part of your spiritual self. It is the part of you that lives young and needs love and attention. Your childhood is the start of your future and the story of your past, hence the importance of connecting with your Inner Child. Your first few years of life have a huge impact on who you are and what choices you make in your life.

Your basic emotions, sensitivity, and creativity are the basis of your Inner Child and are often suppressed in your adult life. SO SAD :(

Connecting with your Inner Child

1) Stop suppressing your actions: Don't ignore your instincts. Listen to the little voice in your head. Allow yourself to explore a lack of restraints once in a while

2) Explore your imagination: Allow your imagination to run wild. Don't worry about what others think of you and focus on your own happiness.

3) Enhance your listening skills: Pay attention to the sounds around you. Everything from obvious things such as the wind to small things like your heartbeat.

4) Embrace the spirit energy: This strengthens the awareness of your inner voice. This is useful for quick decision-making and intuition, as well as attracting people to you and synchronizing your life.

5) Pause to laugh and smile: Many problems come up in life, but this does not mean that we cannot find time to smile. Be thankful for opportunities given to you and always keep an eye out for ways to make your life exciting and interesting.

6) Engage the world using your senses: Remember the world through your eyes as a child. Remember how bright and colorful it all looked. Recall your emotions and feelings.

Bringing out our inner child can help us connect to our current emotions and follow happiness in our current lives. Discovering our Inner Child can help us notice past wounds in need of healing. It can help us bring forward confidence and happiness into our lives.

Gain your Inner Child's trust. Fight their pains. Let your anger go. Fight underlying loneliness.

Ways to connect with your Inner Child

1) Visit a place you enjoyed as a child and embrace the nostalgia.

2) Complete a guided Inner Child meditation

3) Get creative

4) Write a letter to your younger self

5) Write a list of things that made you happy as a child

6) Go through photos of your younger self. Try imagining how you felt at that time

As mentioned before, your Inner Child is a huge part of the current you. Get to know your Inner Child and you will intern get to know your current self.

Well, Lovies, I hope this helped. Let me know in the comments!

Blessed Be
